50% Off Co-Ed Supply subscription!

I've really always wanted to try Co-Ed supply and I've been hoping my mom would get a subscription for me,but month after month there has been no box from Co-Ed Supply for me.
When I saw this deal I sent an email to my mom with the link. Hopefully she gets the hint and I'll be getting a box in the mail next month. Fingers crossed!

Letters to Saturday

Dear Saturdays,

Oh how I hate you.

Why do I hate you, you  the one day in the week where I have to do nothing? Well its because I have no car and there is absolutely nothing to do on campus on the weekends. I was expecting college to be this big fun, no stop, world of always having something to do.But that my friend if a lie, well at least here at UT Dallas it is.

To me Saturday, you are nothing but time spent in my room searching the web or cleaning. No classes to go to. No work to be pressured into doing. No friends who are awake before 5. No where to go.

You Saturday are just a day to bid my time. To do all those lazy things without worrying about that I should be using my time more effectively. I used to love you Saturday, but now I dread whenever you roll around. College has changed many things for me,but I wish that what you  meant to me Saturday wasn't one of those

Un-sincerely,

Kaiya

Limited Edition: La Prarie Glossy Box Review

Glossybox is available in Austria, Brazil, China, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Poland, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Taiwan, and the United Kingdom.

Every now and then Glossybox sales limited edition boxes. These boxes are usually valued at over $100 and cost $40.

La Prairie is a Swiss company that sells luxury beauty products and this month they paired with Glossybox to design a limited edition box. This box sold out in hours of being released. This box contains travel sizes of some of La Prairie's most popular products. The  full sized value of these products would be $950.

Cellular Swiss Ice Crystal Dry Oil ($51/$300)
Cellular Swiss Ice Crystal  ($40.61/$300)
Together these two products are meant to restore skin to its youthful appearance! I'm eighteen, but I do miss the glow and tightness of my skin from back when I was eight,so I can't wait to look young again.

Foam Cleanser ($35.7/$75)
Cellular Refining Lotion ($19.22/$95)
Essence of Skin Caviar Eye Complex ($45.9/$135)

Decree: This Glossybox was a great value and all the bottles are gorgeous! The only downside is if I fall in love with any of these product, which I probably will, I won't be able to afford any of the products, since these products range from $95 to $300! Which I can't afford on a college student budget. My subscription box subscriptions are as much of a splurge as my budget can handle

What do you think of La Prairie? Worth the money?

Pop Sugar Must Have Box: February 2014 Review

PopSugar is different from most subscription boxes because it doesn't focus on just one category. Each month you receive Must have items from categories such as beauty and home.
I was delighted to see this in the mail today. I knew that it was my PopSugar Box because of the bright pink stripe.

What's inside?

  • Dial Vitamin Wash
  • NCLA Nail Polish
  • Model Co. Lip Gloss/Lip Stick
  • Sugarwish Candy
  • k.hall Candle
  • Nourish Organic Argan Face Serum
  • Gorjana Jewelry Roll

Must Have Fashion
~Gorjana Brooks Jewelry Roll ($45): I love this it can be used not just as a jewelry roll, but for anything that can fit in a zippered pouch, like pens, make-up, loose change? We also received a $20 voucher to Gorjana-Griffin.com.

~Nourish Organic Argan Face Serum ($23.99): My skin dries out quickly,so I moisturize daily. This seems like a great alternative. My skin feels like it is more hydrated, but I'm not sure if its the serum or the fact I'm drinking more water.

~Dial Vitamin Boost Body Wash (~$3): When the spoilers for this month's box came out there was a lot of discussion whether or not this should have been in the box. I personally don’t mind the Dial because its not like I'll ever not need soap.

~Model Co. Lip Pops Duo Lip Gloss and LipStick ($16): This is absolutely positively my favorite thing in the box. It is both a lip gloss and lip stick. I think it looks best when you dab the lipstick and then apply a coat of the gloss.

~NCLA Nail Polish (Rodeo Drive Royalty) ($16): Gorgeous deep red color and I love the NCLA brand. I have more than enough nail polish, since I subscribe to Julep.

Must Have Food
~Sugarwish Candy (Cinnamon Hearts) ($6.25):  I'm trying to stay away from sweets and have never been a fan of cinnamon candy,so I gave them to my roommate and she loves them.

Decree: The box had a total value of $121.42 which is a great value, since I only paid $29.95. For my very first PopSugar Must Have Box I must say I'm not that excited. I will use a few items like the nail polish, serum,lip-gloss,and  the soap of course because you can never have enough body wash. All in all I'm looking forward to my next PopSugar Must Have Box.
