Oh, What is this White Fluffy Stuff Falling from the Sky?

Yesterday it snowed!!! I'm from South Texas,so never in my life have I seen actual snow that covers the ground. I really wanted to go to school up north to have a real winter, but I didn't make it further than Dallas. I never expected that I would see snow here, but I did and it was wonderful. It was amazing to see little white flurries fall from the sky around me.

Julep Maven Review- February 2014

Julep Maven is a monthly nail polish and beauty subscription box. All products are from the julep brand. They not only sale nail polish, but a variety of beauty items. The box cost $19.99 and promises a value over $40.Each month Julep releases a new collection and you select a style profile either; Boho Glam, Classic with a Twist or It Girl..
For February  month I decided to upgrade to the entire collection because I loved all the nail polishes and bonuses and couldn't decide on what style profile I wanted! Normally I get Boho Glam.

Monday Musings

I thought that since, I'm new to the blog world that it would be a neat idea to do an update every now and then about my life.

1.Today began my third week of school can't believe its been that long, at times it feels like I just got back.

2. I'm a freshman,so I'm still trying to figure out what organizations or friends are right from me.

3. Today I skyped with my mom for the first time and it was great. Yes, I am in that small subset of eighteen year olds who actually enjoy spending their free time with their mom. Since, my whole personal space is confined to a 10x10 block I have half of my subscription boxes sent home. I go home every month,so don't worry reviews for those boxes won't be too far away.

4. I'm currently have 4 books checked out of the library and I've only began to start one. Which is Malcolm Gladwell's David and Goliath: Underdogs, Misfits, and the Art of Battling Giants. I am a huge fan of Malcolm Gladwell and reading one of his books always feels like I'm getting a way with something, because his books are not only a pleasure to read, but also informative.

Memebox Review- Box #4

If you aren't familiar with this box, Memebox is a one time Korean box filled with deluxe sized samples of popular Korean beauty products at an amazing discount. They put out two new boxes every month.

A Little About Me...

Hi!

Thank you for visiting Oh My Boxes and Books...

I'm a college student who, is double majoring in Economics and Finance, somehow manages to find time to read and discover new subscription boxes. I have read over a thousand books in my 18 years of life, but I often find myself forgetting whether or not I liked a book,so I figured it was about time to chronicle my opinions on books and thought I might as well help others figure out what books are a hit or a miss.

I recently found subscription boxes and am a permanent subscriber to 5 subscription boxes and I try a new box every month. Finding the right subscription box is trial and error and I hope I can help you maximize the trial and minimize the error. I Love getting a gift to myself in the mail and I hope soon you will to.
